Welcome to my blog

My name is Nasriati. My family call me nasri, but my friends usually call me Nas. I m an Indonesian woman who married an Iranian man and now living in Iran. In this country, all people have family name. Most of Indonesians only have first name without family name. Then I put my late father's name Abdul Ghani.

I m fulltime housewife and mother of two lovely kids.

At the first time came to Iran, I have no idea about cooking and baking. Never done this activities before. In my hometown, my mother and sisters usually cook at home. Now, I m living away from them, i really miss my mom's cooking.
Later, I learn how to cook Iranian foods from my mother in law,friends,and from books/magazines/internet. I used to call my mom and sisters to ask how to cook my hometown foods ^-^. I really regretted it why I didnt learn it before. Specially in Iran where it is very difficult to find ingredients to cook my hometown foods. But after learning by doing, now I am able to cook my hometown foods even still not very well. I m just beginner and I will keep learning because I love to do it.

In this blog, you will find Indonesian and Persian recipes,also some others too.

Now, I m enjoy cooking and baking for my family and put a lot of care and love while doing it.
